Nadia Bolz-Weber is a Luthern minister who serves “House for All Sinners and Saints,” a church in Denver, CO. She is a NY Times bestselling author, an outstanding pastor and gifted storyteller (and, for what it’s worth, one of my favorite writers!).
We will be exploring her just-released book, Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People, at Adult Study on Nov. 1, 8 and 15 at 9:30 a.m.
For a special sneak preview of the book, visit http://wp.production.patheos.
In Accidental Saints, Bolz-Weber weaves wit, insight and brutal honesty as she shares stories of her own surprising encounters with the Holy as ordinary people share life together in a community of faith, struggle with questions of meaning and purpose, and tell each other the truth about their real lives.
I think the book will speak to many of us and will offer rich sources for reflection and sharing as we read it together.
